The New Hatch Finactic Reels are 100% backwards compatible with previous models. "The overall sizing remains the same. Only the weight, frame, and spool porting have changed. We didn’t want to make our older products obsolete. Rather, we wanted a new design that complemented what we’ve already done. This is important for both dealers and customers who currently own or sell our products. Since we’ll be effectively eliminating the Pulse and Monsoon frame styles, this was a major factor”.

 

The 4 Plus bridges the gap in size and weight between the 3 and 5 plus models. The reel was designed to be the perfect 5-weight reel, but feels equally balanced with both 4 and 6 weight lines as well.
