When Airflo first released their Ridge lines in 2006, it was a drastic new concept. To actually change the cosmetic makeup of the flyline surface from the baby smooth flatness of traditional lines past seemed like a risk at the time. However the performance benefits were immense--making the line hugely popular, and just a year later our main competitor hit the floor with their own (albeit noisier) break from tradition. Since the original Ridge Line concept, Airflo added their Power Core and supple technology to the mix resulting in memory-free performance and better energy transfer. Manufactured with the regular Ridge coating, the 65' head of the new distance taper combines seamlessly with the Power Core technology to provide incredible stability through the cast. This is the line for long mends and long casts. With a color change from head to running line, it's easy to guage the correct head length for maximum distance. Color - Chartruese/White
