When Airflo first released their Ridge lines in 2006, it was a drastic new concept. To actually change the cosmetic makeup of the flyline surface from the baby smooth flatness of traditional lines past seemed like a risk at the time. However the performance benefits were immense--making the line hugely popular, and just a year later our main competitor hit the floor with their own (albeit noisier) break from tradition. Since the original Ridge Line concept, Airflo added their Power Core and supple technology to the mix resulting in memory-free performance and better energy transfer. Utilizing the original Tactical Trout taper developed by Rene Harrop, the new Supple technology improves the original beyond belief in cold conditions. The easy flexible coating helps maintain ultra sharp loops and smoother casts.
