When Airflo first released their Ridge lines in 2006, it was a drastic new concept. To actually change the cosmetic makeup of the flyline surface from the baby smooth flatness of traditional lines past seemed like a risk at the time. However the performance benefits were immense--making the line hugely popular, and just a year later our main competitor hit the floor with their own (albeit noisier) break from tradition. Since the original Ridge Line concept, Airflo added their Power Core and supple technology to the mix resulting in memory-free performance and better energy transfer. We couldn't introduce a new coating technology without applying it to one of our all time favorite taper designs, the Delta. With a long front taper and delicate tip, it lends itself well to those tricky presentations, now made all the more stealthy with Airflo's new Ridge Supple coating.
