Display/Demo Rods - These are rods that have been out on our display rack, cast in the parking lot, some may have been cast on the river. Do expect some slight wear and/or cork discoloration. All of these rods are new and carry full manufacture warranty. This 8-weight "switch" is best for fishing heavily weighted flies two-hand style; especially the ones made with bulky, water absorbing materials. Only the stronger single-hand casters are able to manage this rod for any length of time. It casts well in high wind, similar to what anglers encounter in Tierra Del Fuego. Whether you're fishing for big steelhead or Atlantic salmon, searun browns or silver salmon, this rod will surprise you. GLX makes it very powerful, but more importantly it makes it extremely light.
