 The NV Reel Series include the G-Spool option in the lineup. G-Spool Stands for Giga Arbor Spool. The G-Spool starts with a larger internal arbor size spool and Nautilus machines out the extra weight creating a very light spool made for smaller lines on larger diameter reels. Advantage? YES…Like having overdrive. Here’s an example; you’re looking for a new Bonefish reel. You could purchase an NV 8/9 and have an outstanding reel or purchase an NV 10/11 G-8 and have a high performance Bonefish reel. The larger G-Arbor Spool allows lightning fast line pickup.
