The Gorge Fly Shop Trade Up Program
Why trade in when you can Trade Up?
Want that new fly rod but don’t have the beans to pay for it? Or maybe you’re like most anglers -you have a ton of equipment already and you can’t justify the price of the latest, top shelf gear... Well, The Gorge Fly Shop would like to have your used gear and give you store credit towards purchasing the gear that you really need.
***Please contact us by Email about all initial inquiries
or questions about this program.***
THREE OPTIONS TO CONSIDER:
  1. We give you an upfront dollar amount. This credit would then be used towards a new purchase. Allow for 1 week turn-around from date that we receive the product(s).

  2. We can sell your used gear on EBay for you. We will give you the final sale price minus 10% selling fee towards a new purchase. Allow for 3 week turn-around from date we receive product(s).

  3. We will also buy used gear outright and send you a check. No purchase will be necessary. Allow for 1 week turn-around from the date we receive product(s).

may be valued at a lower price***

TERMS:



GETTING STARTED:

  1. Contact Us First: Send us an email to info@gorgeflyshop.com. Type Trade Up Program in the email’s subject header. Please list your items and their conditions (scratches, fading etc…) Be sure to include whether fly rods and reels are complete with their original socks, tubes and/or cases. Let us know if you are interested in trading in your items for store credit or if you would prefer an outright sale of your items to GFS. (If trade-in, what type of products are you interested in purchasing?) This email should also include your full name and your contact information.

  2. We will then contact you with rough price quotes for your items.

  3. Once you have received rough price quotes from us and you decide to move forward, print out the trade-in form and fill it out completely. Mail the below form along with your items to: Gorge Fly Shop, Att: Trade-In Program 201 Oak St. Hood River, Or 97031. Please consider using an insured method that allows for tracking like UPS or Fedex.

  4. Once we receive your gear and the TRADE UP FORM for final review, we will do one of the following for you, depending on which program you choose:

A: Give you an immediate trade-in credit towards fly shop purchase(s)

B: List your product for sale and contact you once item sells. Upon sale, we then give you credit towards fly shop purchase(s). (Final sale price minus 10% seller fee)

C: Mail you a check for the outright sale of your items to the Gorge Fly Shop.
