Here's a traditional spey rod that's slightly shorter, but still allows you to cover a lot of water. At 14-feet, the optimal casting range is a moderate 65 to 85-feet. It's a delightful rod for catching steelhead and all but the largest salmon. The moderate action creates smooth D-loops while still generating a lot of power.
