Featuring fully enclosed frames and Abel’s time-tested external adjustable pawl-click drag, the reels are styled in an "old school” fashion, reminiscent of classic European Spey reels, but with a craftsmanship only possible in a made-in-the-USA version At 3.7-inches diameter and 1.00-inch width, the 8.5-ounce Abel Switch reel has been engineered for 5- through 7-weight Spey lines. The Abel Switch is machined from 6061-T650 cold finished aerospace-quality aluminum. Quick Release spool.
