Built for Long Odds and Big Flies

Nothing about chasing musky with a fly is easy. The casting is demanding, the flies are large, and the physical effort adds up quickly. The G. Loomis IMX-PRO M is built for experienced anglers who have the focus and grit to stay in the game when opportunities are few and far between.

Developed with professional guide and G. Loomis Elite Ambassador Chris Willen, the IMX-PRO M features all-day actions designed to reduce strain while casting and retrieving heavy musky flies. The rod provides the power needed to move substantial grain weights without feeling unnecessarily cumbersome in hand.

Mega-durable Cloud Composite grips keep both hands engaged through long sessions, helping anglers continue fishing effectively after others are ready to call it a day. These purpose-built rods reflect the physical demands of modern musky fishing and the persistence required to succeed.

Conduit Core Technology

As blank diameter increases, manufacturers traditionally add more material to maintain strength and durability through the lower half of the rod. Conduit Core Technology replaces excess graphite wraps with a proprietary material that provides comparable strength at a significantly lower weight.

Reducing unnecessary material improves balance and makes the rod easier to move throughout the casting stroke. This helps anglers use less energy while casting, mending, and animating large flies.

Construction: High-modulus graphite
Performance: Balanced swing weight with dependable durability
Blank design: Multi-Taper Design reinforces potential stress points while reducing unnecessary graphite material
