Review: Dependable, Simple, Elegant. If you want to put a fish on the drag with a light tippet, this reel can do it. If you need lots of holding power on the drag but still want a smooth transition to letting line out, this reel can do it. I've got it in 4, 6, and now 8. They can handle some abuse, too. I take mine on backcountry trips and don't have to worry about it failing. And it's made in USA, so there's that, too.

Review: Put in on an NRX 5wt. Nice combo. Upgraded line to SA smooth infinity (which doesn't give up anything to the MXP). I will put it through the gauntlet next month on my next trip.

Review: I really like my new Galvan Torque. I've used several of the high-end reels and this model is right there with them at a good price. Lightweight, strong, smooth drag with a full range, and it look nice too!

Review: Great Service and fast shipping. The reel is matched to a Fenwick Fenglass 7.6. The balance is great and the burnt orange color matches the rod very well. The reel is top quality with smooth and simple operation.

Review: A fly reel doesn't do a whole lot most of the time. This one looks nice, balances well, and has a great drag system when the reel actually has to do something.

Review: The Galvan T8 is an excellent reel. Strongly built, flawlessly machined, equipped with a great drag, and sharp looking as well. I haven't used in saltwater yet, but the T8 surely is a great reel for (freshwater) golden dorado or any other freshwater duty where a good overall reel is needed.

Review: The reel is everything that was advertised. The shop owner took my order. He was not only helpful, answering my many questions but friendly and knowledgeable as well. This is a first rate fly shop with a large assortment of gear and one of the most knowledgeable staff you could find. I have visited their shop in Hood River, Oregon several times and it is always fun to go there. Highly recommended!
