Review: I have two of these rods one trout and one steelhead both are super smooth. Best rods by far for the price.

Review: The Sage Foundation 9ft. 5wt. was a replacement for a St. Croix 5wt. that I lost. I have used it twice now at it fits the bill for me and is a geat replacement for the St. Croix. I called them about another rod that they carried and they sold me on the Sage. I had looked at it before but ruled it out. The guys at the Gorge Fly Shop know their stuff. Their thoughts, knowledge and great service were greatly appreciated.

Review: Love ordering my new rod and getting the free line. The staff was incredible, Lindsay called me to make sure I got what I needed. No one does that. And the free line made the value of the purchase really great for me. Honestly, I’ll look up gorge fly shop again.

Review: I luv this Sage rod. It's built basic but solid. nothing fancy but it just works. Cast great like a fly rod should. This is a solid answer to the over inflation problem of USA made fly rods. Reminds me of an old RPL but much lighter
