Echo Stillwater Fly Rods - Free Fly Line

Review: To me, I am a lousy caster, the rod was easy to roll cast and overhand cast from both a standing and sitting position. The rod had a nice easy feel through out the casting stroke. Fifty foot cast with 12 ft leader, no problem.

Review: I had purchased a similar rod in 2004. Unfortunately or fortunately I recently broke the tip. After checking on the Echo website I decided to purchase a new rod. I am so glad I did. This rod has a soft tip. It has plenty of power and it is accurate. I love the balance provided by the weights which allow me to get the swing weight I like. The construction is similar to Echo's usual standard. I'm so happy bought this rod.
