The Skagit Compact heads were designed to make fishing in tough places with heavy sink-tips and huge flies easier than you thought possible. The heads were developed with the help of steelhead guide Tom Larimer. Tom’s focus was to design a line for real life fishing situations, not casting yarn balls at a Spey Clave. Consequently, they’re the easiest casting Skagit head on the market. With 30 grain line increments ranging from 420 to 720, any rod on the market can be dialed into your casting stroke and fishing needs. You’ll will never have to cut and splice a line again. The heads range from 23 to 27 feet, come with the toughest loop design in the industry, and are color coded for each individual line size. Match the Skagit Compact with your favorite running line and sink-tip.
