Review (Tell us Why?: Hi i have just bought a clarus centerpin rod from Shimano, 11"3" I use it for float fishing on mainly still waters in Scotland, where i live, i like to make up my rod before i leave the house, i fix the float, shots, and hook lenth, so when i arrive at the water i can be fishing in minutes, as it is in 4 sections , i set it up then break it down to 2 halfs then just put it back to full lenth at the river bank where i am fishing, i was so impressed with the rod i bought a second one, so i can now... Review (Tell us Why?: Hi, living in the U.K, we are spoiled for choice, when it comes for all types of rods, i was surprised to see you can still buy graphite rods in north america, with sliding ring reel holders, we have not had them for many yrs, all rods for sale in the u.k. are made from high grade carbon fibre, with screw down reel seats, anyway Shimano are a very respected company in angling, so i took a gamble on the clarus, The rod it,s self feels well balanced , with an understated look, it has been upgraded...
