Simms has reintroduced felt to a selection of its wading boot line-up, including the Freestone Boot. Felt has solid grip, it’s lightweight, and offers advantages in certain wading environments.Please follow clean angling practices, limit felt soles to single watersheds, and help keep these vital resources healthy.

  • Water-repellent full grain Nubuck leather
  • Double layer mesh quarter panels for quick drying and superior drainage
  • Triple-stitched construction
  • Mesh tongue
  • Contoured brass speed lacing system
  • 7/16" felt is thicker, more dense than standard felt

Generally wading boots should be sized one size over your street shoe size.

Review (Tell us Why?: My wading boots cop a flogging in and out of the streams. Whilst other brands have fallen by the way-side Simms Wading Boots stand up to the tough Aussie conditions.

Review (Tell us Why?: These boots are stable on rocks and the big toe box makes for warm toes. Very comfortable and go one size bigger than street shoe.
