Winston Bamboo

Early in 2017 R.L.Winston suffered a great loss when a fire broke out in the middle of the night which resulted in a complete loss of factory, bamboo, tools and finished rods. This bamboo shop was in fact the original Winston rod company in downtown Twin Bridges, Montana. Hard to imagine the loss of such an iconic original structure to this world famous rod company. 

Reborn

Not to be deterred, after two years R.L.Winston has established a new shop, acquired the unique tools, resupplied bamboo and is now back in business of crafting some of the finest bamboo rods in the world. Ninety years of tradition and that tradition continues on.
