"Fun Skagit Line"

Chris M on 4/17/2023 3:15:40 PM

Review: This Skagit line casts beautifully and swings slow. Just just add your sink tip of choice and tippet. I use it for kings and steelhead. Just buy the same weight line as your skagit recommendation. Has caught me a bunch of fish.

"Airflo Skagit F.I.S.T"

Julia Barrientos on 1/23/2022 9:11:36 AM

Review: Excellent line, fast sinking without the hinge effect, easy to cast because of its 21.5 feet and I can easily lift heavy flies, I have it for king salmon fishing, 100% recommended.

"Great Spey line"

George Helton on 8/30/2016 3:12:08 PM

Review: I fished this just Sunday and really loved the way it performed. It turned over a very heavy streamer with a cone head with no problems. Caught a great big trout :-). Cast wonderfully. I like it a lot.

"Great skagit line"

Portland OR Swinger on 1/26/2016 4:12:20 PM

Review: I am a big fan of Airflow spey lines - Low stretch, appropriate weight increments, and great customer service (more in a second). Purchased 510 & 570gr for 7 & 8wt two-handers. The intermediate head portion works as intended and smooths out the sinking tip underwater better than my floating skagit (At least that is what I imagine is happening underwater). Took a bit of adjustment with my casting stroke as the intermediate anchors differently and these are compact (22ft) lines. I ended up lengthen my tips by a couple feet because I kept pulling my anchor. These are my go to lines for deep swings on the Sandy R. As for customer service, kudos to both GFS and RajeffSports. The box that my 570gr line came in was mislabelled and I received two 510gr lines. A phone call to GFS quickly rectified the situation. They got on the phone with RajeffSports (who distributes Airflow in the US and which happens to be geographically closer to me than GFS) and a replacement line was sent out overnight shipping with a enclosed return label back for the second 510 line. Phone call was on Monday, correct line received Tuesday, went to the river on Wednesday. Thanks.

"Airflo Skagit Intermediate Compact Shooting Head"

James on 10/20/2015 7:25:03 AM

Review: Works exactly as described. A lot more control when swinging through different current speeds, and for getting down in deeper pools. As I've found, you can actually run a lighter tip and still get into the zone effectively. Highly recommend this intermediate shooting head.

"Airflo Line"

Joseph Ciavaglia Jr on 1/29/2014 3:44:38 PM

Review: I purchased the Airflo Skagit Intermediate Compact to use on the tributaries of Lake Ontario for steelhead. The line works great. I am fairly new to spey casting and I was able to cast this line with ease.
