Whether upgrading or purchasing your first Trout Spey rod, the CF Burkheimer 3113-4 is an absolute pleasure to fish, superbly crafted for soft hackles fished just under the surface or swinging small streamers you'll fish with a smile on your face.

The 3113-4 Classic is Burkheimer’s feather-touch trout spey—11'3" / 3-weight with that signature smooth load for soft-hackle swings, light Scandi work, and compact Skagit heads with small weighted flies. Hand-built in the PNW with Classic hardware and finish.

"Burkheimer 3113 is my new go to when swinging for trout"

Review: Thank you, Travis, for steering me toward the CF Burkheimer 3113 instead of the 4114. The 3113 has plenty of backbone to handle trout and summer steelhead on the Deschutes (OR) and Feather, Yuba (CA). Although light in feel, this rod is a breeze to cast with the Burkie feel.
