Review: Sage did a fantastic job on the redesign of the original spey reel. Features like a beefed-up sealed drag, second check, and a rounded reel foot post are welcome changes over the original. The Granite color pairs perfectly with the R8 spey color way.

Review: This is my second Sage II Spey Reel. I had the next smaller size for a 6wt and bought this for my 7. Super solid and smooth reel. I love the single-turn drag knob. Overall build seems very solid. Order fulfillment from Gorge Fly Shop was amazingly fast - fantastic/fast service!
