Review: I purchased the G. Loomis NRX+ online through Gorge Fly Shop and it was a seamless experience. Unfortunately the rod was not in stock when I ordered, but I was placed on the wait list and it was shipped as soon as it arrived in their shop. There was a deal where a fly line of choice was included with the purchase, which was an incredible perk!! The NRX+ Saltwater rod (8 weight) is an absolute rocket. I can pick up line and easily send it 60+ feet with minimal effort. The reel seat is not my favorite it takes some manipulation to get the reel tight and stable. However, the power and accuracy of the rod allows me to overlook the real seat. The cork is really nice and the guides are high quality. Be sure to register for the warranty on the G. Loomis web page right away.

Review: I traded in my older #9 and #10 NRX rods at the Gorge Fly Shop for a new #9 NRX Plus rod. The new rod is a significant improvement - lighter yet stronger and more accurate. It is a real pleasure to use.
