Review: One of the best purpose made spey reel with an adjustable drag. If you're in the market for a new spey reel that will last you a lifetime, the Galvan Swing is the easy choice. Sealed drag, plenty of backing capacity, all wrapped up in a no frills all business aesthetic, sign me up!

Review: Sorry, couldn't resist! I got this reel and I love it. They don't give a backing capacity reference for it, but I put 200 yards of 30# Dacron on it, which is plenty, and it was perfect, leaving enough room for running line and Skagit head without being too full. I love the look, love the color, love the silky smooth drag, and I love the big handle! Highly recommend!!
