Review: Backing is super strong and colors are great. I didn't have any trouble with it being loose.

Review: Material is great! Backing was wound WAY too loose. The backing buried up in the underlying line. Had to strip it off and rewind all 300 yards. Took way too much time. When I called they offered to send a label to shop it back and they would redo it. I didn’t have time for that. Besides, I didn’t have a great deal of trust it would turn out any better.

Review: Well, at least that's what it makes me feel when I take a look at this backing. For full disclosure, I only licked it once and it tastes nothing like Sherbet...though, it does tastes better than Crayons. I love this backing because it's slightly thinner than typical Dacron, so you can put more on, or leave more room for the rest of your line set up. Though it's thinner, it has more strength. However, if you need to splice, you won't be able to. I've never tried, but I read that while doing my DD on backing.
