Review: Bought me a few of these to try streamer fishing for Deschutes River Trout, sweet tie by the way and a great size for Trout/Steelhead, and was on my way home and decided to stop off at the mouth of the Hood River to try steelhead fishing. Problem was I only had my 4wt Microspey rod with me and I knew because of this I would most likely hook a Steelhead. Low and behold about 10 cast into my effort I did hook about a 10 pound chrome bright steelhead. I was pleasently surprised by the 4wt Microspey but also the Klamath Intruder because the hook size was a bit small for Steelhead, but perfect for trout. Anyhow, I was able to land the Steelhead in a reasonable amount of time without the hook failing. This fly looks sick in the water. Give it a try, I highly recommend them!
