Review: To me, I am a lousy caster, the rod was easy to roll cast and overhand cast from both a standing and sitting position. The rod had a nice easy feel through out the casting stroke. Fifty foot cast with 12 ft leader, no problem.

Review: Great rod but you can find reviews about the rod in lots of places. I want to give kudos to Gorge Fly Shop. Easy communications and very very fast service. It’s my go to online shop! Review: This rod has good karma first time right out the tube. Cast sinking lines with ease. Love it. used it at Strawberry reservoir with great success.

Review: I had purchased a similar rod in 2004. Unfortunately or fortunately I recently broke the tip. After checking on the Echo website I decided to purchase a new rod. I am so glad I did. This rod has a soft tip. It has plenty of power and it is accurate. I love the balance provided by the weights which allow me to get the swing weight I like. The construction is similar to Echo's usual standard. I'm so happy bought this rod.

Review: Many thanks to Travis and Lyndsay...Travis for the very comprehensive and useful information, which helped my purchase decision, and Lyndsay for her flawless order taking the next day. I have only practiced with the rod so far. After some adjustment to it's length and shaking off a year's worth of casting rust, I do find the rod easy to cast. How it performs on the water remains to be seen. Thanks again, Gorge Fly Shop!
