"Love my G-8 Reel on my Winston"

Review: The past two years I have taken this reel to Christmas Island. It has proven itself to me. It has the stopping power I need for bigger fish and the drag is so smooth. Great line pick up and keeps performing even under harsh conditions. Plus, little maintenance needed.

Review: Great reel, I love the larger handle, it makes it easier to find when fighting a fish. I also love the super smooth drag. The Grip 8 works great on my 9'6 7wt streamer rod, my 9' 8wt saltwater rod and my light 11' 7wt OPST Switch rod. Plenty of room for ample backing, running line and the head and tips. Highly recommend this reel. Quality and USA made.

Review: I recently purchased a Galvan Grip G8 fly reel. I used it this spring for steelhead fishing. It worked great. Absolutely an awesome reel. Not to mention the great service I always receive from Gorge Fly Shop.
