A classic deep in heritage style click-n-pawl reel, that's fun to fish. It has an easy to palm spool and a full cage frame which allows you to use monofilament running lines without the worry of the line slipping in between the spool and the frame and getting caught inside the spool. The edge of the spool is outside the full cage frame, making it really easy to palm when needed.

A re-modeled classic Hardy fly reel. The Hardy Marquis was a main stay of the Hardy line for many years. This new edition features numerous improvements to the original including subtle updating of the classic style with an indented regulator button, increased porting, and improved regulation range.

    "Marquis Salmon #2"

    Review: I love a click pawl reel and this has been one of my favorites for some years now. The Salmon #2 is perfect for any two handed rod from 11' to 13.5' rod and the #1 is at home on most Trout Spey rods. A fun reel! I love the classic looks and I really love it when I'm hooked up to a fish and my friends know it!

    Review: Know that these reels do not have ball bearings and must be maintained. That said, I have fished for fifty years with reels like this and not had any problems. Simple, efficient and well made. load up gobs of backing and they retrieve like large arbor reels.
